Celebrating The Gazette's 32nd Year
THE CARETAKER GAZETTE
is a unique newsletter containing property caretaking and house sitting jobs, advice,
and information for property caretakers, housesitters, and landowners.
Published since 1983, it's the only publication in the world dedicated
to the property caretaking field.
NBC Today Show: Caring for Beautiful Homes
provides its subscribers with thousands of house sitting and property caretaking jobs
each year. We have housesitting jobs in all 50 US States, Canada, Mexico and dozens of other countries.
All of our subscribers also receive, at no extra charge, email listings of new rent-free living opportunities (when property owners need to find house
sitters very quickly) several times each week.
You can enjoy rent-free living as a property caretaker in desirable locations. Positions on estates, mansions, farms, ranches, resort homes, retreat centers, camps, hunting and fishing lodges, vacation homes, private islands, and any other kind of property imaginable are listed in The GAZETTE.

Subscribe to The Caretaker Gazette, a bi-monthly publication, and start using the rent-free living opportunities that we publish. We’re sorry, but we do not send sample issues out any more, since our subscribers were unhappy that people were taking caretaking positions and housesitting opportunities out of the old sample issues we used to send out.
For those of you who would like to save some money and lock in our current low subscription rates before our next rate increase, you can subscribe for two years for $49.95, or three years for $69.95. Considering buying a vacation home?
If you are considering investing in a second home or vacation home,
don't let your concerns over house sitting and security in your absence
be an issue. You can connect with many reliable caretakers through The
GAZETTE, or you can reduce your reliance on house sitters by considering
alternative vacation ownership options. Investing in a timeshare is a
less expensive way to own vacation property, plus you can choose a set
travel period each year that is most convenient for your schedule. Costs
for the upkeep of the property are shared among multiple owners and
managed by the resort group or Home Owners Association, which means you
never have to worry about year-round maintenance or security issues. As
a timeshare owner, these issues are taken care of by your resort group,
so your only concern will be finding someone to watch your primary
residence when you go on vacation. If you are interested in timeshare
ownership, try a company like SellMyTimeshareNow.com for inexpensive
timeshare resales (timeshares for sale by owner).
WE ARE LOOKING FOR HOUSESITTERS to mind our house in Robe, on the southeastern Limestone Coast of South Australia, and two cats from September 30 to October 27. We live in a comfortable three bedroomed home with an open living/dining/kitchen area that looks out onto a river and lake. There is a very small garden to be maintained. Our house is a two minute walk from Long Beach and a 20 minute cliff walk into Robe itself. We have solar panels and a water tank as our attempt at being environmentally conscious. A free-standing wood fire and reverse-cycle keep the whole house warm and cozy in the cooler part of the year. There's a covered patio area and a small back lawn and garden and the whole of this area has a 'zapper' fence around it which keeps our cats in and other cats out. There are no houses opposite or directly behind and only one neighbor along the side (and she's seldom there). The lake opposite the house attracts all types of water birds. If you're lucky, you'll see pelicans soaring in. Other bird life is on view all the time. Robe is an historic town with lovely old buildings and fantastic beaches as well as a rugged coast line. The town is very well catered for in terms of restaurants and boutique shops (and one supermarket) and it even has its own small cinema. Though there is no public transport or taxi, everything is within walking distance. For more information, please email XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
