PROPERTY CARETAKER needed. A private, San Francisco-based nonprofit organization is seeking a caretaker for its retreat facility in the Guerneville area. Position requires continual, XXXX residence on site. Duties include light maintenance, receiving deliveries, opening up/shutting down facility for weekend use, monitoring water/septic/pool systems, maintaining watering schedule in summer and helping with miscellaneous chores as they arise XXXXX hours/week). You must be stable, drug-free, healthy and familiar with basic building/landscape systems and their maintenance. This is an ideal position for a semi-retired person who is pursuing arts, crafts or scaled-down self-employment and needs privacy and time. The environment and our activities are contemplative, quiet and low-impact. A good relationship with redwood trees is helpful. You must have your own RV, fifth wheel or small (<40') trailer, as we do not have a residence available. Recent local references are also required.
